The Enterprise Center
PathStone Enterprise Center’s mission is to enhance the economic self-sufficiency and quality of life of individuals and communities through entrepreneurial training, technical assistance and access to financing for new and expanding businesses throughout Upstate New York.
The Enterprise Center carries out its mission by making loans to small and micro businesses, and by accompanying those loans with a strong program of pre-loan and post-loan technical assistance and training programs designed to support growth. The Enterprise Center’s loans generally range in size from $20,000 to $50,000.
Livingston County Office of Workforce Deveopment
The Office of Workforce Development is a one-stop source for employment, training, and recruitment assistance in Livingston County. Their Career Center provides an array of workforce resources to both jobseekers and employers.
Livingston County Business Education Alliance
The Livingston County Business/Education Alliance (BEA) is a grassroots partnership between business and education with a mission of preparing productive citizens. The BEA provides opportunities for career exploration and awareness activities for students in eight partner school districts and facilitates dialogue between local business partners and educators.
Students in Livingston County schools, grades K-12, participate in BEA endorsed career awareness activities such as Junior Achievement, job shadows, internships, field trips and career days. Programs offered by the BEA have received both regional and national attention.
